private files but still shareable
it would be great to be able to set files as private, but still be able to share a direct link to people and they be able to view it without having to be logged in

make a smaller version of the audioo player for embedding.
The player is pretty large and bulky, especially if you are trying to embed it on another site, like a blog or on myspace. This is especially a problem when embedding multiple songs.

Add more years to your drop-down year-of-birth menu (yes, some people can live to be *that* old!)
Expand your demographic...be inclusive of music and ideas from experienced professionals who might be 59 or older. (!) What a shock!

Add feed(s) for posts
Feeds are my primary way of keeping up with different sites and I'm sure many people do. Without feeds it would simply be too much effort to keep up and cause me to not use the site.

Add shuffle to playlists. Too boring at the moment!
Make shuffle playlist to re-organize playlists. It's too boring listening your music in the same order ALL THE TIME!

After uploading a file, show the organize page for that file
When you upload a file, it should take you to the "organize" page for that file. It would be much easier to edit, tag, and add descriptions while the song is on your mind.

Have a list of our most used tags to make tagging easier.
On the "Organize" tab, below the tagging box, display a list of our frequently used tags. This would save time, and help keep our tags uniform.

Create a better star rating element.
The 5 Star rating element on the site has many flaws. It is nearly impossible to give a full 5-stars.. you have to click inside the tip of the star. Plus it is too complicated, it should be AT MOST divided into half-star ratings, for a better user experience and also for aesthetic reasons.

Allow users to create ideas, even when they are out of votes
Even if I am out of votes, I should still be able to contribute new ideas. The more ideas/feedback you get, the more you are able to fix & improve, thus making the whole site better.
In fact, shouldn't you be awarded votes for your ideas? -- or possibly when people VOTE FOR your ideas?
What is the point of a community if you put a limit on it. Honestly, if I run out of votes, what makes me want to return again?1 vote
